What Are the Stations of STEM?

At Future Haus, we break STEM down into eight powerful, hands-on learning stations — each one designed to spark creativity, build real-world skills, and make learning unforgettable.

These stations include Robotics, Drones, Coding, Digital Storytelling, Engineering Design, Circuitry, Connected Learning, and Augmented Reality — all rooted in exploration, experimentation, and purpose.

We rotate through these learning labs across all our programs so students get to experience, apply, and master a wide range of tools and concepts — while having fun and thinking big.

  • DRONES

Students explore the science of flight with real drones and paper planes— learning how they launch, fly, and glide. Through safe, hands-on challenges, they build flight skills, test new heights, and fuel their desire to soar.

  • CIRCUITRY

Kids explore the exciting world of electricity as they build real circuits and discover how everyday tech works. From connecting components to solving puzzles, this hands on activity sparks curiosity and boosts problem-solving skills.

  • CODING

Interactive coding games and challenges open up programming and problem-solving fun with screen and screen-free activities. Kids develop logical thinking, testing their ideas out as they go.

  • ROBOTICS

Students bring robots to life as they build, program, and overcome fun challenges with both screen-based and unplugged activities. Kids of all ages build coding skills, tech know-how, and teamwork as they control each robot and power up new ideas.

  • AUGMENTED REALITY

Students bring science to life by turning phones or tablets into interactive discovery tools. From exploring the human body to traveling through space, AR unlocks a world of hands-on, mind-blowing learning experiences that jump off the page and into real life.

  • DIGITAL STORYTELLING

Students become creators as they dream up characters, craft story boards, and animate their own adventures using digital tools. It’s a fun mix of art, tech, and imagination that builds communication skills and confidence — one frame at a time.

  • ENGINEERING DESIGN

Kids become inventors as they brainstorm, build, and test their own creations. From sketching ideas to hands-on prototyping, they’ll turn big ideas into real solutions learning how to think like engineers and problem-solve with purpose.

  • CONNECTED LEARNING

Students get the best of both worlds; hands-on tools and interactive tech blend for a rich, multi-faceted learning experience. They interact with tangible objects while exploring corresponding digital content.
